Greetings to all NYIT Vancouver IEEE Student Branch members!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are thrilled to announce the establishment of the NYIT Vancouver IEEE Student Branch, a milestone that marks our commitment to fostering innovation, collaboration, and professional growth within the IEEE community. As we embark on this exciting journey, we are laying the foundation for a legacy that future generations of students will build upon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Being a part of the inaugural leadership team offers a unique opportunity. Not only will you have the chance to shape the direction and vision of our branch, but you will also be instrumental in creating a vibrant community that supports the academic and professional aspirations of its members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are currently seeking dedicated individuals who share our passion and vision to fill the following pivotal roles:

Note: Only current IEEE members or IEEE student members are eligible for these roles. If you’re not yet an IEEE student member, please register as one first before applying for these positions.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Secretary<\/strong>
Duties and Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Keep comprehensive records of all team activities.
Manage branch communications.
Document minutes during every team gathering.
Update the NYIT IEEE website.
Procure necessary printed materials.
Support the Chair as needed.
Oversee collaborations between NYIT IEEE and other entities.

Treasurer<\/strong>
Duties and Responsibilities:<\/strong>

Oversee the branch’s financial activities and budget.
Maintain accurate financial records.
Prepare financial reports for review.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Collaborate with other team members on budgeting for events and activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Media Coordinator<\/strong>
Duties and Responsibilities:<\/strong>

Craft and implement media plans to spotlight branch happenings.
Keep the NYIT IEEE website current.
Manage all NYIT IEEE social media accounts.
Partner with the Events Coordinator for event publicity.
Create and share promotional content for events.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Event Coordinator<\/strong>
Duties and Responsibilities:<\/strong>

Maintain and refresh an events calendar.
Organize and oversee branch events in line with our objectives.
Partner with other organizations for combined events.
Collaborate with the Media Coordinator for event publicity.
Handle event logistics, from venue selection to technical setups.
Assess event outcomes and gather insights for enhancements.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
